Inspiration
Blues clues was one of my favourite childhood TV programs. It was an American TV program it first started in 1996, other versions of the show where produced for example the UK.
Blue is a puppy who puts her paw prints on three clues. Steve has to deduce the clues (with the help of off-screen children) to figure out what Blue wants to do, this was the inspiration for my game. My game will also incorporate paw prints as clues, the clues will be to find the big cat of Dartmoor. Like blues clues the player will have a companion, I think this companion should be something very common to Dartmoor - I looked into common wildlife and creatures, I think it should be something that looks very friendly for example a bunny rabbit/Hare or a small pretty bird.
The Basic Idea of my game - You are a Investigator investigating the legends of Dartmoor your mission is to find The Beast of Dartmoor (the big black cat) You have been given a map marked on the map is a star this is the last area the Cat might of been seen, this is where you will start.
You have to follow the clue through the different area's of Dartmoor to hopefully find her, but watch you don't go the wrong way! or you'll have to go back to the beginning and retrace your steps.
You have to document your findings with your Camera and log the images and use the equipment in your inventory to help you find her - Magnifying glass, Binoculars extra.
